Fall / Winter

Wow - I just collected the pictures for those two galleries and they are really a journey through my time in Taize. When I see them I can remember every walk I went on with my camera and know exactly in what kind of mood I was in - sometimes full of joy, sometimes a bit sad, on an adventure, fascinated by the beauty around me, a bit lost, mystical, lively, on a search, discovering, breathing, taking leave...

Since I grew up in Schratland I am not really what you would call a "city kid" but looking at these pictures I am over and over again astonished by the beauty of this creation. It seems so pure, without anything that is unnecessary.

These pictures just touch my heart. I hope they can express something of the atmosphere of my life there and of what moved me during all those little expeditions.
